Where Can You Buy Tea Tree Oil Shampoo That Won't Endanger Your Health and Wellness?

When looking for a good tea tree oil shampoo, you might think that any shampoo containing tea tree oil should work well, but not all shampoos are created equally.

There are many brands of shampoos with tea tree oil, but because of other ingredients some can cause serious side effects.
Side Effects May Include

  • irritation
  • eczema
  • pustules

and some tea tree oil shampoos may in fact contain almost no tea tree oil at all. One of the common irritants in shampoo, sodium lauryl sulfate, is up to 25 times more poisonous than tea tree oil. A mere two tablespoons ingested is likely to kill you.

A close cousin, Ammonium laureth sulfate, is a known skin irritant in high concentrations.

Some shampoos may have up to 30% Ammonium Laureth Sulfate.

This potentially dangerous chemical is found in some inexpensive brands of shampoo with tea tree oil. Some studies suggest that sodium lauryl sulfate may enter into and remain in heart tissue. The long term effects are unknown. Sodium lauryl sulfate may cause changes to skin cells and may damage hair follicles.

At least one common brand of tea tree oil shampoo is laden with Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (part of a shampoo line that is often the least expensive brand in the USA,) and occupies a large amount of shelf space in most major grocery stores, drug stores, and discount stores like WalMart and Kmart.

Have you searched aimlessly reading label after label of all shampoo bottles in a these local big box stores unable to find even one shampoo that doesn't contain SLS and a number of other chemicals that you can't pronounce? I have.

In fact, most store brands, and many salon brands, contain one or both of these chemicals.

How Can you find
Tea Tree Shampoo You Can Trust?

Some people have associated tea tree oil shampoo with an increase in scalp irritations, but this is not exactly accurate.

Tea tree oil may not be the culprit, but it may instead be a cheap or inferior shampoo product that is causing the irritation.

Step #1

Quit buying shampoo based on price alone. If you wantcheap shampoo, then expect to get all of the side effects along with the purchase.

Step #2,

Ask Yourself these Questions Every Time You Buy Shampoo

  • Does it contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate?
  • Is there any dangerous Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate in it
  • What's more important to me and my family, their health?the quality and safety of the shampoo?or price and convenience?
  • Do I want to risk cancer because of my shampoo?
  • Do I have dandruff or scalp irritation?
  • Do I want to have a clean scalp and healthier life for afew pennies a day more than I usually spend?
  • You want clean hair and the benefits of tea tree oil, but it isn't worth the risk to your health to keep buying these other shampoos. I would highly recommend spending a little extra to buy a high quality shampoo without the Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate.

Why add possible carcinogens into
your system through your scalp?
