Tea Tree Oil and Rash

by karen
(Pickering, On, Canada)

My chiropractor recommended that I wear socks to bed because of the arthritis I have in my toes. This turned out to be a bad idea. After the third night of sock wearing, I woke up with a terrible stinging and itching between my toes. Thinking I had developed athlete's foot, I washed my feet and applied Tinactin©, which made the condition worse.

Remembering that I still had some Tea Tree Oil left from when I had a rash on my hands after handling a plant I am allergic to, I dumped it liberally between my toes. The stinging/itching cleared up immediately and within six hours, the rash had cleared up completely.

Amazing.
