Nappy Rash

by Jenny

Nappy Rash

Nappy Rash

Nappy Rash.

A few years ago we had boy girl twins, and decided to go down the washable nappies route. A few generous drops of tea tree oil in the soaking nappy bucket prevented unwelcome odours.

Using an old large margarine tub, warm water a squirt of washing up liquid, a table spoon of olive oil, and two drops of tea tree oil, made a wonderful solution which I soaked toweling washable nappy wipes in.

My children NEVER had nappy rash, and I was never worried about odours or cleanliness. This worked just as well in the UK and overseas... and meant I didn't have to worry about causing huge amounts of landfill or infection risk for neighbors when we had no refuse collection system.
