Can You Use Tea Tree Oil For Jock Itch? I received this question by email, and thought it would make a great topic to comment on. Here's the question. "Hi my boyfriend has jock itch, will the tea tree oil be able to help him with this condition and if it is how should he use it. Thank you for your help I really appreciate any advice you might be able to provide.

This was how I answered her, and perhaps it will help your situation as well. I don't know if tea tree oil will help, but it might. To find out, buy your boyfriend your favorite body wash, or his, and add one or two teaspoons of tea tree oil for every thirty two ounces of body wash, make sure he washes the area at least once a day with the body wash while taking a shower or bath. It's great for reducing the bacteria that cause body odor as well, and I have heard some people need less deodorant, or even none at all when using a tea tree oil body wash.
