Scabies

Can you tell if tea tree oil works on Scabies? I was prescribed the stuff from the dr..it worked for a while, I washed everything...the scabies came back or I never got rid of it totally...I went and bought 2 bottles yesterday at cvs drugstore...i put a little on the bumps last night..it did relieve itching.
