Hair Products Rash

by jenny

I started using a certain brand hair product designed specifically for curly hair. I used the shampoo, conditioner and gel religiously for 7 months. After about 5 months I noticed a pattern of "pimples" along my hairline.

I've never had a pimple in my life so I was obviously alarmed. I started exfoliating, washing, and moisturizing my face regularly but it didn't clear up. I also began to notice that the area was itchy.

Finally, I realized that it wasn't acne but the hair product I was using. So I did some research and tea tree oil became my first choice. I picked some tea tree oil at Shoppers Drug Mart the next day and voile! It's gone!

Since that time, I use tea tree oil on my face at least once a week! I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!
