Acne Treatments

One of the most common medical acne treatments is Zithromax.

Zithromax is one of the world's best-selling antibiotics, and is derived from erythromycin. Your doctor can decide if this is a good option for you.

Zithromax is also used for ear infection, pneumonia, tonsillitis, and strep throat. Although acne tea tree oil treatments can be very effective, sometimes you need to seek the counsel of a doctor and find out if something stronger is necessary.

diarrhea

or skin rashes and itching.

You may also experience ringing in your ears, hearing problems, or a decrease in your sense of taste and smell.

Are there any other oral acne treatments?

Guys, you are out of luck for the most part on this one. Except for one or two homeopathic acne treatments The most common oral treatment for acne is a birth control pill. The progesterone in the pill won't help a guy out, and would cause side effects true men might not want. Another option though might be an oral antibiotic like Zithromax.

Zithromax and Pregnancy

Only your doctor can tell you whether or not it is safe to take Zithromax during pregnancy, but unless you suffer from some of the side effects listed above, it appears that the risk is relatively low from the medical information available online. As far as taking zithromax while breastfeeding is an entirely different story. The antibiotic is secreted in breast milk, and so you would be dosing the infant as well.

My family will usually seek out a herbal or natural solution to most common health issues. Some things we will seek out a physician first, but we like to use the nutritional support that God has provided through plants, vitamins, and minerals. There are so many side effects possible with the antibiotics, that I like to try a less dangerous, less invasive, and less expensive means of returning to a healthy state.
